Profile child care worker Tuma mi Man

The child care worker is responsible for the daily care, development and care of a group of children. Other responsibilities, the child care worker is:

  • Responsible for supervision of children in both group and individual basis.
  • Responsible for the daily care of the children.
  • Responsible for the development of the children.
  • Responsible for a good communication and sharing information about children and work with parents and colleagues.
  • Responsible to keep the building and the material clean and available.

Job requirements for the Child care worker:

  • Minimal qualification: SPW 4 (Sociaal Pedagogisch Werk level 4) and/or equivalent degree in child development or early childhood education
  • Speaking of Dutch and multiple languages is a plus. (English, Papiamentu)
  • Good communicative skills, both verbal and nonverbal.
  • Wide deployment, stress resistance, accuracy and collegiality
  • Structured work ethic
  • Flexible, positive
  • Overview and superiority of the group of children
  • Creative, dynamic, fun and innovative with improvisations
  • Open for innovations
  • A large dose of patience, care and love for children
